The Fontina is only produced during summer when the Alpine milk is at its best quality. Although matured for at least 3 months, the paste should still be soft and elastic. The name means "to meal" because its best eaten when heated for fondues. This cheese is handmade so weight and dimensions may vary slightly. Approximate dimensions 35 cm x 8 cm
