A Celebration Cheese Cake featuring some of the best British cheeses that Paxton & Whitfield has to offer.

To serve approximately 75 people.

The cake consists of:

Mrs Kirkhams Lanacshire 3kg ((Unpasteurised Cows' Milk, Traditional Rennet) - A farmhouse Lancashire made using a traditional two day curd method. Lancashire is open textured, buttery with a hint of sharpness.

Perl Las 1.2kg (Pasteurised Cows’ Milk, Vegetarian Rennet) - A superb Welsh blue cheese, golden in colour, with a creamy, gently salty taste that grows stronger with maturity.

Wigmore 800g (Thermised Ewes’ Milk cheese, Vegetarian Rennet) - A Ewes’ milk cheese with a slightly sweet yet flowery taste. The texture is fairly firm when young and runny when older. Wigmore is handmade in Berkshire.

Oxford Isis 200g x 2 (Pasteurised Cows’ Milk, Vegetarian Rennet) - Oxford Isis is washed in honey mead & matured for a month, this cheese is full flavoured & pungent with a spicy tang. Oxford Isis was first produced in 2003 especially to supply Oxford Colleges and restaurants in Oxford City.

Mini Cerney 140g x 2 (Unpasteurised Goats’ Milk, Vegetarian Rennet) - An attractive goats cheese coated with an ash and sea salt mix. Dense textured with a delicate citrus flavour handmade in the Cotswolds. NB Decorations and board not included.
